Registered Nurse Clinical Lead Specialty ED

Schedule: Full-time | Night Shift

What You Will Do

• Lead and coordinate nursing staff in specialty areas, including Cardiovascular/Cath Lab, Surgical Services, Emergency/Triage, Endoscopy, Critical Care, and Labor & Delivery, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts to optimize workflow, patient outcomes, and team performance.
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop assignments that ensure appropriate, safe, and efficient care while maintaining productivity standards.
• Manage patient care concerns and complaints, collaborating with staff and leadership to resolve issues through established channels.
• Oversee resource availability, including materials, supplies, and equipment, and provide input on staff hiring, training, and performance development.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• 3 year previous emergency department experience preferred.
• 1 year previous RN emergency department charge experience preferred.
