Laboratory Technician I – Bonduel, WI


SUMMARY STATEMENT


AgSource is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to accurately prepare, conduct and report sample analyses according to approved standard operating procedures (SOP) and quality control guidelines. Ensure testing services are conducted within anticipated laboratory turn-times. Maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and an essential function of your job.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately prepare, conduct and report sample analyses according to laboratory SOP for designated tests.
  • Perform and monitor quality control checks for designated tests to ensure they fall within acceptable thresholds. Assess corrective action steps for failing or inconsistent quality control checks and report to immediate supervisor.
  • Perform routine laboratory procedures such as media/solution preparation, cleaning of labware and laboratory workspaces, monitor and maintain supply inventory for designated tests.
  • Promote and adhere to safety in the workplace.


Position Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 0–2+ years of laboratory experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work variable hours and overtime as needed
