At Beacon, we specialize in inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents ages 6 to 17. Our hospital focuses on personalized, evidence-based care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach. What You'll Do as a Mental Health Technician:
  • Build therapeutic relationships by providing daily support and supervision to patients
  • Monitor and document behavior, conduct regular safety checks, and ensure a structured, supportive environment
  • Take vital signs, assist with admissions/discharges, and escort patients as needed
  • Help teach life skills and reinforce treatment goals
  • Play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healing atmosphere
What We’re Looking For:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or college coursework in psychology, social work, or a related field
  • Other Requirements: CPR and Handle With Care certification required within 30 days of hire
