Assistant Store Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to jump behind the bar, coach teammates, and create an exceptional experience for every guest. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to lead daily operations, develop team members, and help ensure every guest receives outstanding service and consistently great food and beverages.

What You’ll Do
Lead the Team
- Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Coach, motivate, and develop baristas and shift leaders.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Foster a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Step into leadership whenever the Store Manager is unavailable.
Deliver an Outstanding Guest Experience
- Create memorable experiences for every guest.
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
- Ensure every food and beverage item consistently meets Muse quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.
Drive Daily Operations
- Oversee café operations during assigned shifts.
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory, ordering, and store organization.
- Help monitor sales and operational performance.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Jump in wherever needed—from making drinks to stocking inventory—to support the team during busy periods.

- Has leadership experience in a coffee shop, café, restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Leads with integrity, humility, and a positive attitude.
- Enjoys coaching others and helping people succeed.
- Communicates clearly and works well with others.
- Stays calm under pressure and solves problems effectively.
- Is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Loves coffee, hospitality, and serving the local community.
- Is available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements throughout a shift.
- Work comfortably in a fast-paced café environment.

Compensation: The hourly pay listed in this posting reflects the starting base wage. Team members also participate in our tip program, providing additional earnings above the posted hourly rate.
