Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Bella Vista Hotel - Lynchburg, VA 24502Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations. Greet guests and provide courteous, professional service throughout the event. Serve food and beverages according to event guidelines and service standards. Clear plates, glasses, and other items from guest tables promptly. Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas. Assist with buffet service, passed hors d'oeuvres, plated meals, and dessert service as needed. Refill water, beverages, and other table items. Communicate professionally with the event manager, kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members. Respond to guest requests and questions in a friendly and helpful manner. Assist with event cleanup and breakdown at the conclusion of the event. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each event. Qualifications Previous waitstaff, catering, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Must be reliable and punctual. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy event environment. Ability to work well as part of a team. Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry items weighing approximately 25–50 lbs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require. Must have reliable transportation to and from event locations.
