Centra Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and return to the lives they love following an injury or illness.

How you'll contribute 

An HR Assistant who excels in this role:

• Assists with employee onboarding, including background checks, orientation scheduling, badges, IT access, I-9 verification, and required paperwork.

• Maintains and organizes HR, health, and education files.

• Supports recruitment and pre-employment processes. 

• Serves as the initial IT point of contact for new-hire access and equipment requests.

• Coordinates employee engagement communications, including event calendars, birthday announcements, and Employee of the Month recognition.

• Follow up with employees regarding required documentation, training completion, and other HR needs.

What we're looking for

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or 1 year of related experience is required.
• Previous Customer Service, administrative or office experience is highly preferred.
• Previous HR experience is preferred.
• Must be highly organized, able to multi-task, and computer proficient.
