- Typical Cases: Care for individuals recovering from critical illness who need ongoing respiratory support, complex wound care, intravenous therapies, cardiac monitoring, dialysis, and comprehensive rehabilitation services before transitioning to a lower level of care.
- Additional Info: We utilize the LEAF system, a wearable patient monitoring technology that helps staff track and document patient repositioning. Our unit provides dialysis treatments at the bedside using TABLO dialysis machines. This innovative technology allows patients to receive dialysis without leaving their room, improving comfort and continuity of care.

The Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) nurse serves as the clinical resource and consultant for the acute and rehabilitative care of patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal genitourinary and integumentary systems (e.g. complex draining wounds ostomies fistulae dermal ulcers tubes). The WOC nurse should be prepared to provide the full scope of WOC nursing practice including education counseling research and administration.
