We are聽seeking聽a skilled and detail-oriented聽Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) )to join our surgical team. In this role, you will聽assist聽in operative procedures by ensuring proper setup, instrument handling, and maintenance of a sterile environment to support聽optimal聽surgical outcomes.聽This position will include call, holidays and weekends.聽Shift will be 3 12 hours (6:45 am to 7:15 pm).聽
Key Responsibilities聽
- Serve as the scrub technologist during surgical and invasive procedures.聽
- Assemble, prepare, and organize surgical instruments and supplies.聽
- Ensure proper sterile technique and field maintenance at all times.聽
- Assist聽with sterile draping and provide instruments to the surgical team.聽
- Clean and prepare instruments for decontamination and transport.聽
- Support turnover and setup of operating rooms between procedures.聽
- Participate in ongoing education (10 contact hours annually) and skills validation.聽
- Adhere to site, side, and level verification protocols during procedures.聽
- Collaborate effectively with surgical and perioperative staff.聽
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold patient privacy standards.聽
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.聽
- Comply with聽all OSHA, AAAHC, and internal policies and standards.聽
Qualifications聽
- High school diploma or GED聽
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program聽
- Current Surgical Technologist license in the State of Virginia聽
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification聽
- Experience in sterile processing (preferred)聽

Compensation Range for this position:
$25.67 - $38.51Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
