ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in all aspects of the photo/video creation process, including photojournalistic and pre-planned/pre-staged photography and videography shoots.
- Edit photos in two pre-determined editing styles using Adobe Lightroom Classic software.
- Assist with file management following large events.
- Oversee the start-to-finish creation of weekly announcement videos, including scripting, talent management, filming, and processing videos for compatibility on all LUSOA social media platforms.
- Oversee inventory logs of LUSOA promotional items.
- Inform the Communications Coordinator of the low promotional items inventory.
- Assist with air show preparations.
- Assist with special events.
- Assist with various projects as needed.
- Assist with graphic design projects when needed, including creating event posters and slide decks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications Â
- must be a registered student of Liberty University
- Must be familiar with camera equipment, including Canon mirrorless cameras and lenses.
- Must have a strong knowledge of Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Preferred Qualifications
- preferably proficient in adobe photoshop and adobe illustrator

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud

Physical and Sensory Abilities
- Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard. (If not administrative duties, such as labor, define general physical abilities.
- Regularly required to hear and speak to effectively communicate orally.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building.
- Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel, or stoop to conduct business.
- Regularly lift 30 or fewer pounds.

Driving Requirements
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one’s vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is necessary when driving in the performance of the employee’s position.
