JOB SUMMARY
Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion, this position would assistthe ongoing development and performance of Club Sports marketing, promotions, game day coordination, and digitalcontent management. The person performing this role will understand, follow, and disseminate Liberty University policies regardingplanning for upcoming men’s hockey, men’s lacrosse, and men’s volleyball seasons, administrative marketing tasks, and ordering of marketing and promotional materials. This position will work closely with all marketingand game day staff to organize and oversee administrative marketing/promotional tasks, any marketing student workers and interns, and overall contribute to the organization of gameday functions.
**This position is not a full time role and is intended for those interested in pursuing a graduate program at Liberty University.
1. Coordinate and execute integrated marketing projects and promotional campaigns for Club Sports programs, including but not limited to Men's Division I Hockey, Men's Lacrosse, and Men's Volleyball, ensuring initiatives align with departmental goals and timelines.
2. Manage the intake, organization, and prioritization of marketing requests, serving as the primary point of coordination between Club Sports and internal creative, marketing, and communications teams.
3. Develop and maintain project timelines, monitor the status of marketing initiatives, and proactively communicate updates to ensure projects are completed on schedule and in accordance with established priorities.
4. Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing collateral by collaborating with Liberty Marketing, the Print Shop, creative services, and other campus partners to ensure timely delivery of promotional materials.
5. Create, update, and maintain website content and digital assets to ensure Club Sports platforms remainaccurate, current, and aligned with brand standards.
6. Utilize BuyLU and other departmental systems to procure marketing materials and manage purchasing requests in accordance with university policies.
7. Supervise and coordinate the work of student employees, interns, and content contributors supporting social media, digital content creation, marketing initiatives, and game-day operations.
8. Support game-day marketing and fan engagement efforts by coordinating promotional activities, sponsorship activations, digital displays, giveaways, and other in-game experiences.
9. Collaborate with campus departments, athletic partners, and external sponsors to develop and execute creative marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, attendance, and the overall game-day experience.
10. Assist with events during evenings and weekends and support additional responsibilities as assigned.
11. Work in Concessions as needed throughout the year.
12. Complete necessary University trainings to stay in compliance.
13. Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
14. Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This positionwill oversee various interns each semester, and some marketing staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Four-year college degree, with a concentration in communications, sport management, or related degree, experience with administrative marketing experience.

Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate. Attending events may cause some exposure to outdoor elements.
Driving Requirements
Use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.

Student employees are paid at least the current Virginia minimum wage per hour. Pay may vary by position and department based on job responsibilities, required skills, available funding, and market conditions.
