Erie Title is a full-service title and escrow company serving real estate agents and their clients since 1998. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and efficient closings. We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Escrow Officer to join our team

Position Summary: As an Escrow Officer, you will manage and coordinate real estate closings from start to finish. You’ll work directly with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate professionals to ensure that transactions are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with parties, their real estate agents and lenders throughout the closing process.
  • Review contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, and other escrow-related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Review buyer/seller documents prior to execution.
  • Prepare and review CDs and settlement statements.
  • Confirm that all loan conditions have been satisfied and secure lender’s approval to transfer title, as applicable.
  • Verify that all funds have been secured and transaction is in balance prior to releasing final statements and checks.
  • Disburse funds according to the settlement statement.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience as an escrow officer required.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate contracts, title insurance, and escrow procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple files at once.
  • Proficiency with escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite.
