Job Description
Title:Â Junior Quality Assurance Analyst
Reports to:Â Manager, Quality Assurance
Overview
The Junior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for evaluating the first run of production and product development test samples for David Yurman product.Â
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in the first production approval process including inspection of merchandise, documentation, analysis, and communication of evaluation results
- Perform XRF Analysis on incoming Components and Finished Goods
- Perform scan of diamonds in First Production goods
- Participate in PD Test product reviews, provide feedback and approvals as appropriate
- Participate in sample selection process and coordinate transition to sample library
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Assist in other projects as needed
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3+ years jewelry experience required
- Experienced working as part of a Team
- Knowledge of jewelry inspection process is a must
- Attention to detail with ability to work on long-term and short-term projects, including the ability to inspect merchandise for corrective action purposes as required
- Strong organizational and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- GIA or similar gemology certification preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
Location: Lyndhurst, NJ office
Work Schedule: In office Monday through Friday 8:00a-5:30p EST (occasional Saturday needs)
Estimated Pay Rate: $29.80-$32.22
Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
