JOB SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support for Commercial Loan Administrative Assistants by coordinating a variety of tasks related to the origination and servicing of commercial loans. Collaborates with internal departments and third-party providers to ensure loan processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and professionally. Delivers prompt, high-quality service to both internal and external customers while maintaining strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Obtains information related to the loan origination process which may include: ordering credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title reports, UCC searches, environmental reports, insurance information, flood certificates various other items.
- Assists in funding requests such as advancing credit, principal pay downs, collecting and forwarding pre-closing monies, fund transferring via wire transfers or internal account to account transfers as well as various other transactions.Â
- Assists in tracking of annual financials and updating the loan system.
- Assists in managing past due loans, maturing loans and annual reviews.Â
- Prepares and maintains pipeline reports and other reports as assigned by supervisor or department head.
- Performs secretarial tasks which may include preparing expense reports, management reports, and creating tracking logs, etc.
- Completes clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents as required.
- Team oriented with ability to monitor and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Ability to handle difficult customer issues and act in a professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful manner with all external and internal customers. Thorough knowledge of all products and services the Bank offers.
- English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Communication— Good interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
- Sales and Marketing—Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting, and selling products or services.
- Clerical—Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology. Excellent computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing skills.
- Legal and Regulatory—Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the banking industry, particularly in the lending area.
- Bank Secrecy Act – In the performance of all the respective tasks and duties, employee will maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security and bank policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Administrative experience preferred
- Proficient in Word and Excel
