HVAC Install Technician

System Service & Engineering is looking for a HVAC Install Technician to join our team in Lynn Haven, FL. If you have a passion for HVAC and are looking to join an already-growing company, We want to hear from you!

Position Overview:

As our HVAC Install Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, start-up, and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-functional inspections and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
  • Install split systems, water source heat pumps, RTU’s, fan coil units and chillers
  • Install, diagnose, and repair refrigeration systems
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions
  • Complete thorough documentation for all work performed
  • Assist with the installation of field devices on equipment
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Work with commissioning agents as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in HVAC equipment installation and start-up
  • Strong knowledge of air handlers, VRF systems, and general HVAC systems
  • Ability to read and understand control wiring, high voltage diagrams, and refrigerant piping diagrams
  • Experience with refrigeration piping installation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn all commercial HVAC plants
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Skills:

  • VRF installation and start-up experience
  • Knowledge of control and equipment sequence of operations
