About the Role Â
The Assistant Manager will help move the operations team forwardusing sound management techniques and create an environment of success and positive reinforcement. Helping department managersand teams succeed in their daily tasks and ensuring timely delivery of services while maintaining a constant focus on safety are of paramount importance to the Assistant Manager role.Â
Responsibility Profile:Â Â
Ensure teams know their assigned job duties and responsibilities on a daily basis.Â
Provide open communication to team members for transparency and mutual understanding.Â
Help employees be successful in completing their daily tasks.Â
Provide support to other managers, dispatchers, drivers, attendants, and other employees.Â
Train employees on new programs as necessary.Â
Provide feedback and coaching as necessary to ensure employees remainsafe and compliant.Â
Analyze reports and data to ensure accuracy.Â
Attend meetings, conferences, and company events as necessary.Â
Perform other duties as assigned.Â
QualificationsÂ
Three (3) yearsof transportation workingexperience or equivalent.Â
One (1) year of supervisory experience is preferred.Â
High School Diploma.Â
Knowledge of DOT and Safety regulations preferred.Â
Salary:
$65-70K/annually
- Schedule 8hrs Monday to Friday in the time frame of 5:30am to 6pm
