Job Summary Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM To ensure continuous and efficient cooking & mixing of food products. Kettle Cuisine takes the utmost pride in their products and expects each employee to do the same with their work. Duties and Responsibilities Follow safe working practices at all times Follow the company GMP’s Follow recipes and mixing instructions accurately Mix and cook ingredients Check for required level of viscosity for each batch Plan ahead all activities to reduce downtime Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues, errors or changes Take instructions from supervisors Any other tasks deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by management Check quality of prepared product Document exact results Test samples of food items where appropriate Ability to regularly stand and walk for long periods of time Assemble goods when necessary Operate relevant equipment Clean equipment Be flexible and proactive in order to be able to perform tasks effectively Required Skills 1 year of manufacturing experience preferably in the food industry Experience working in temperature controlled settings Proven track record in safe working practices Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time Ability to lift 50 lbs Must be able to read and write English Ability to work in fast speed environment Desired Skills Product knowledge is preferred Passion for food and high quality Excellent attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Time management Problem solving Planning and organizing Bi-lingual preferred Americans with Disabilities Act Kettle Cuisine complies with all aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state disability laws. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. The Retail Cup Cook position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for the annual discretionary bonus program up to 5%.
