Be a part of our Chateau family that prides itself not only on our outstanding care and love for the assisted living industry but prides itself on having fun and taking care of family.   Details: Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, fsa, 401k with employer match, $40,000 employer paid life insurance policy, 6 paid holidays, employee referral bonuses, tuition program, employee wellness program, discounted employee meals, ORCA card reimbursement, bridge program (HCA to CNA or LPN to RN), CNA/HCA/LPN/RN annual license reimbursement *Some benefits require employee to work 30 or more hours per week and/or be over the age of 21*   Wage: $22 - $26 per hour/ DOE   A Day in the Life: Prepare quality food with minimal supervision Be aware of special dietary menu items and prepare them as needed Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining Chateau’s food quality standards Follow state regulations related to cleanliness, food storage guidelines, and equipment management in all food preparation and kitchen areas Assist in preparations for catering or special events when needed Assist with receiving and putting away incoming orders when needed Other duties as assigned by the Culinary Services Director   Requirements: High School Diploma or (equivalent combination of education experience) Previous experience working with the elderly preferred Ability to read and comprehend order tickets, menus, and recipes in English Valid food handler’s permit Pass a Department of Social and Health Services background check (some negative actions can be acceptable)   Chateau Retirement Communities is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
