Exciting opportunity in Overlake's brand new Off-Campus Emergency Department.
Overlake is preparing to open our first off-campus ED (OCED) facility in Lynnwood this fall. This new OCED will provide 24/7 ED-level care in a highly collaborative, fast-paced setting. It will be based on the model MultiCare has used to open highly successful OCED locations across Washington State.
Responsible for exemplary customer service in greeting and orientation of patients and visitors to the hospital.  Interviews the patient for complete demographic and financial data to complete the registration process accurately, efficiently and promptly.  Collects appropriate monies, obtains appropriate signatures, notifies patients/guests of hospital regulations, policies and services. 
Full Time / Nights
Available Schedules:
Schedule 1: Monday-Friday 11pm-7:30am
Schedule 2: Monday-Friday 10:30pm-7am
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors Degree preferred.  Formal training in medical terminology, hospital finance and customer relations a plus.
  •   Prefer six months previous experience in insurance verification, billing, medical office or hospital financial services department. Also prefer previous admitting/registration experience or previous physician office, hospital or other frontline customer contact experience in a business setting.  Demonstrated customer service skills required.
