SUMMARY:


The Operations Support position is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient day-to-day operations of the Mabton facility. The primary focus of this role is rinsewater management, farming and irrigation activities, facility and grounds upkeep, and general operational projects. This position monitors and operates rinsewater equipment, supports crop and land-management activities, maintains outdoor operational areas, and assists with routine equipment and facility needs. After assigned operational responsibilities are completed, the Operations Support employee may assist the Production Department as directed by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operations Support is primarily responsible for rinsewater management, farming and irrigation activities, facility operations, grounds maintenance, and operational projects. Production support is considered a secondary responsibility and will be performed only after primary operational responsibilities have been completed or as directed by management.


ā— Perform daily operational inspections of rinsewater systems, irrigation equipment, grounds, buildings, containment areas, and outdoor work areas.

ā— Operate, monitor, and maintain the facility wastewater collection, storage, transfer, and handling

ā— Operate pumps, valves, hoses, tanks, and transfer equipment as required.

ā— Inspect rinsewater systems for leaks, spills, equipment failures, or other concerns and report issues immediately.

ā— Maintain rinsewater tanks, equipment, containment areas, and surrounding workspaces in a clean and organized condition.

ā— Perform farming activities, including irrigation, fertilizing, planting, crop maintenance, cultivation, and seasonal harvesting.

ā— Monitor irrigation systems for proper operation and identify leaks, blockages, damaged lines, or needed repairs.

ā— Operate tractors, forklifts, skid steers, UTVs, mowers, and other agricultural or facility equipment.

ā— Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, trimming, weed control, fences, gates, roads, drainage areas, and general property appearance.

ā— Assist with land application, fertilizer application, and other agricultural activities as directed.

ā— Support facility improvement projects, equipment moves, tank installations, weather preparation, and general operational assignments.

ā— Perform routine cleaning and pressure washing of equipment, buildings, secondary containment, and outdoor operational areas.

ā— Assist maintenance personnel with basic repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment preparation, and cleanup.

ā— Follow all company safety procedures, environmental requirements, PPE rules, and operating instructions.

ā— After assigned operations, rinsewater, farming, irrigation, and grounds responsibilities are completed, assist Production as directed.

ā— Production assistance may include material handling, equipment cleaning, tote work, packaging, transfers, housekeeping, and other production-related duties.


COMPETENCY/KNOWLEDGE:

ā— Rinsewater handling systems, pumps, tanks, valves, hoses, and transfer equipment

ā— Basic agricultural practices, irrigation systems, grounds maintenance, and equipment operation

ā— Applicable company safety procedures and environmental requirements


SKILLS:

ā— Effective written and verbal communication

ā— Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting

ā— Ability to follow instructions, prioritize work, and complete assignments independently

ā— Teamwork and willingness to support multiple departments

ā— Organization and accurate recordkeeping

ā— Positive attitude and willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities

ā— Safe operation of mobile and agricultural equipment

ā— Attention to detail and awareness of environmental and operational conditions


QUALIFICATIONS:

ā— 1+ years of experience in agriculture, rinsewater handling, facility operations, manufacturing, or a related field preferred

ā— Experience operating tractors, forklifts, skid steers, telehandler's, excavators, pumps, or irrigation equipment preferred

ā— Basic mechanical, farming, or industrial experience preferred


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

ā— High School Diploma/GED
