ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER

Description

The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday - 5am - 3pm.  Possibly Friday for overtime.

General Purpose:

We are seeking an Electronics Assembler to join our dynamic team in our electronics division. In this role, you will assemble and test electronic products in a fast-paced environment using custom equipment. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential to excel in this role.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble and test electronic products according to provided work instructions.
• Utilize custom equipment to perform product testing and quality checks.
• Interpret and follow technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating basic electronic and mechanical measuring devices, and the ability to handle manual application processes requiring attention to detail and hand control.
• Previous experience with soldering (SMT & Thru-hole) is preferred but not required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or relevant work experience demonstrating performance competency.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in basic math skills such as counting, adding, and subtracting.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with team members to achieve goals.
• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds and work in confined spaces as needed.
