FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Full-Time | Machesney Park, IL

Earn $65,000–$85,000+ Per Year
$25–$35/hr. + Overtime + Full Benefits

We are looking for a motivated Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and support industrial machinery at customer facilities throughout North America. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys travel, hands-on technical work, problem solving, and working independently.

What You’ll Do
• Travel to customer sites for machine installation, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Train customer personnel on machine operation and maintenance
• Provide technical support by phone and email
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Assist with machine testing and production support when in-house
• Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve technical issues

Requirements

  What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of technical service or industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, pneumatics, and industrial controls
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (80–100%)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls professionally

Preferred Experience
• Printing, converting, web handling, or capital equipment industries
• Rockwell / RSLogix
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Epicor, CRM systems, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks experience a plus
