Direct the work of employees, while ensuring quality of finished goods, work training, and operations. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include  interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. To learn more about this position, please read the summarized list of duties below: -Prepare bid proposals for prospective customers in consultation with Bridgeway management and assist with development of business plans for vocational contracts and lines of business. -Act as a contract coordinator for assigned contracts, coordinating both in-house activities and communication with customers. -Develop production schedule to meet customer needs, production deadlines, and quality requirements.  -Insure accurate and timely internal information flow concerning activities with or affecting customers. -Schedule shipping and receiving for assigned contracts and coordinate check-in of customer's goods. -Collaborate with Day Program staff and trainers in setting up job assignments for all workers based on production and individual vocational training needs. -In conjunction with other Production Managers, Rehabilitation Service personnel, schedule daily production to efficiently meet the needs of both the customer and the agency. -Work with the Rehabilitation Trainers in all direct production activities and to provide input to process flow and efficiency. -Assist Rehabilitation Trainers in proper job set-up, production procedures, and quality standards for all assigned contracts. Minimum requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Forklift experience preferred. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
