Accounts Receivable Specialist

Global Parts Distributors, LLC (gpd) began as a five-bay automotive A/C installation and repair shop in Macon, GA in 1974. By the early 2000s, gpd became a national distributor of aftermarket automotive A/C parts. Today gpd is a division of Omega Holdings and offers one of the most complete A/C lines in the automotive aftermarket and manages several warehouses across the US. Omega Holdings is looking for an AR Specialist to join our Accounting Team located in Macon, GA to support our gpd location.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Recording & reconciling payments
Reconcile credit card charges
Resolving payment discrepancies
Maintaining billing accounts and records
Contacts customers for payment resolution
Prepare & post invoices
Prepare monthly customer statements
Daily cash reconciliation
Producing reports as required by management

Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred
1-3 years of experience in collections and credit
Intermediate spreadsheet skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Prior experience in accounts receivable a must
Self-starter with a proven track record of multi-tasking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skilled and proficient at verifying financial or transactional data

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
General ledger knowledge a plus
Experience with Microsoft Business Central preferred
