NIS Express is hiring entry level Class A CDL drivers in Macon, GA. If you have completed 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school, you qualify for our paid one-on-one training program. No over-the-road experience required.
- Weekly pay: $1,200 – $1,500
- Home time: Weekly or bi-weekly
- Area of operation: East of I-35
- Equipment: 2024–2025 Freightliner / Kenworth – APU equipped
- Freight: Dry van, 100% no-touch – ~70% drop and hook
- Training: 3 to 5 weeks paid one-on-one
PAID TRAINING PROGRAM
You will be paired with a dedicated trainer from day one. Training covers:
- Tractor-trailer operation and road safety
- ELD compliance and hours-of-service logging
- Pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Company policies and dispatch procedures
You go solo only after completing supervised miles and evaluations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with all DOT regulations
- Transport no-touch dry van freight – approximately 70% drop and hook
- Meet delivery appointments and maintain on-time performance
- Keep accurate ELD logs, DVIRs and trip reports
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report issues immediately
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Completion of 120 or more hours at an accredited CDL school
- Acceptable driving record with a focus on safety
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screen
