The position of Cashier involves providing fast and friendly checkout services to customers while assisting them with inquiries about the store.

The job requires physical capabilities to lift up to 25 lbs and involves standing, reaching, bending, and other movements throughout the shift.
This position offers a salary of $15 per hour and requires at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Duties:

-Provides fast and friendly check out services for customers.

-Assists customers with questions about store

-Scans and/or weighs products during the checkout process

-Handles cash and other forms of payment properly

-Maintains a neat and clean work area

-Restocks register supplies

-Performs “go-backs” of returned or abandoned merchandise

-Bags groceries when necessary or assists Courtesy Clerk in doing so

-Other duties as assigned

Abilities:

Good customer service skills. Able to read, write and perform basic math problems (counting, addition, subtraction).

Physical Requirements: Able to lift 25 lbs, work includes standing, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling.
