About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily grading operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage and train crew members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare grading plans according to project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all job sites.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and oversee repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for management review.
- Implement best practices for erosion control and land preservation during grading activities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in grading and excavation operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
- Knowledge of grading equipment and machinery, including operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
