Responsibilities

Responsible for providing support to two outpatient mobile PET/CT centers. Duties to include:

  • Contrast Administration
  • EMR Documentation
  • Physician Order Review/ Patient History
  • Direct Patient Care
  • Image Quality Review for Radiologist Interpretation

This individual would act as a liaison between Northside Hospital and PET/CT Mobile Staff to ensure the best patient care is provided. This individual will work closely with physicians, particularly radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases.

 

Travel to both Northside locations will be required. (NS Macon PET/CT Imaging will be on a weekly basis while NS Village Center Imaging will be bi-weekly basis). 

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Radiologic Technology program. 
  • CNMT or PET certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board 
  • OR Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). 
  • Advanced certification in Computed Tomography with ARRT or NMTCB. 
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) 
  • Work Hours:

    830AM-5PM
