Program Overview:
The Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center offer individualized, brief stabilization services (up to 90 days) for up to sixteen (16) adults aged 18 and older with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or co-occurring IDD and behavioral health (BH) diagnoses. Participants are facing psychiatric crises and/or significant emotional or behavioral changes that impact their essential daily functioning and threaten their ability to remain in their home environment.

Position Overview:
The Clinical Therapist provides therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This position is responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy. The Clinical Therapist works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support clients in achieving recovery, stability, and improved quality of life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team.
- Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal guidelines.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active state licensure or license eligibility (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, APC, LPC, LMFT, etc.).
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, or crisis stabilization setting.
- Experience providing trauma-informed care.
