Job Description

Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential   

As an Inspector/Operator, you support the Pouching department byĀ optimizingĀ output, reducing waste, andĀ maintainingĀ high quality and safety standards. YouĀ assistĀ in producing products that meet customer specifications, build technical knowledge of the manufacturing process, and continuously improve through teamwork.Ā Ā

Schedule:   
Shift: 12-hour shifts (6 AM – 6 PM or 6 PM – 6 AM) on a 4-3 rotation    

Fixed Days:    

  • Option 1: Sunday–Tuesday and every other Saturday   

  • Option 2: Wednesday–Friday and every other Saturday   

Note: Employees are assigned to one of the two fixed schedules and do not rotate between them.

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked   
What you’ll do:    

  • Perform all Inspector/Packer duties proficiently.Ā Ā 

  • Support operators on your shift, including running machines,Ā assistingĀ with changeovers, and handling startups/shutdowns.Ā Ā 

  • Train new team members in Inspector/Packer and Inspector/Operator roles.Ā Ā 

  • Use computer systems toĀ monitorĀ and adjust process variables.Ā Ā 

  • Communicate clearly through shift logs and provide proper shift relief.Ā Ā 

  • Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and SOP compliance.Ā Ā 

  • Maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself and others.Ā Ā 

  • Build knowledge of equipment, processes, and operating standards.Ā Ā 

  • Monitor waste and productivity and contribute to continuous improvement.Ā Ā 

  • Keep your work area clean and orderly.Ā 

  

What we want from you: Lead the Pack   
Preferred qualifications:    

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.Ā Ā 

  • Technical knowledge of bag/pouch machines andĀ filmhandlingĀ fundamentals; troubleshooting ability desirable.Ā Ā 

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to read dimensional templates (metric and standard) and apply them to finished products.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to read a ruler to mm or 1/32ā€.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.Ā Ā 

  • Basic computer skills.Ā Ā 

  • Intermediate math skills.Ā Ā 

  • Good visual acuity for product inspection.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to work safely in aĀ fastpacedĀ manufacturing environment.Ā Ā 

  • Strong communicationĀ skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ā 

   

Physical Requirements   

  • Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts    

  • Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.    

  • Perform tasks in a fast-paced production environment
