The Automotive Detailer Assistant Manager will oversee and participate in achieving productivity goals and ensuring all vehicles are prepared to company quality standards. This role is responsible for directing, motivating, and developing our Service Agent team, who play a critical part in delivering exceptionally clean, high-quality vehicles.


In addition, the Assistant Manager will support the hiring, training, evaluation, and scheduling of Service Agent personnel. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a superior work ethic, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and develop Service Agent personnel.
  • Manage and monitor productivity of all personnel and location objectives.
  • Assist in hiring, training, evaluating and scheduling Service Agent personnel.
  • Produce exceptionally clean, quality vehicles.
  • Actively participate in company QA evaluations as well as conduct in station quality inspections.
  • Support of Midwestern Wheel’s Quality Assurance program to ensure vehicle quality is at a consistently high level.
  • Report all aspects of productivity to the Service Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Total earning potential: $22.00 per hour, plus $300 per month bonus potential.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management.
  • Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules which will include evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as scheduled.
