Dental Front Office Lead
Highland Endodontics
We are looking for a Dental Front Office Lead to support and guide our front office team while also assisting with daily front desk operations. This role leads the front office team and oversees day to day administrative workflows while serving as the direct supervisor for front team members. Responsibilities include providing coaching and corrective feedback, conducting performance check ins, and following up with front office staff to ensure expectations are met.
This position reports directly to the Practice Manager and works closely with the Clinical Lead. Together they collaborate to support the overall team, share feedback with doctors, and communicate feedback from doctors regarding team members.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday 7am-5pm
Responsibilities
- Lead and support front office team members in daily operations and patient service
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to front administrative staff
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
- Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
- Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
- Partner with the Practice Manager and Clinical Lead to support team communication and office efficiency
- Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of dental front office experience
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

The salary range for this role is $22-$24 per hour.
