Job Duties
- Receive, examine & catalogue incoming shipment contents and compare with records such as invoices or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Prepare and inspect outgoing shipment contents to ensure shipments meet required specifications.
- Pack, seal and/or crate and label materials for shipping.
- Deliver or direct incoming materials to their respective departments or stock locations.
- Safely operate a hydraulic loading dock ramp, hydraulic waste compactor and hydraulic pallet-jack.
- Safely operate furniture, upright and convertible hand-trucks / dollies and additional material handling equipment as needed.
- Warehouse organization and upkeep with a safety-first mindset.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company’s shipping/receiving dock and the main receiving floor hallway.
- Adhere to The Edgewater’s company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

This position operates in a full-service, professional hotel environment. Stewards are required to use the dolly or truck cart and a flat cart to allocate products to all departments on property. This position requires weekend work.
