Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Maker to join our team. This role is responsible for building, repairing, maintaining, and modifying injection molds used in the production of high-quality plastic parts. The ideal candidate has hands-on mold shop experience, strong polishing skills, and a solid understanding of mold components and machining processes. 


Key Responsibilities:  


● Build, repair, modify, and maintain plastic injection molds and dies

● Perform die building, fitting, and assembly  

● Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications

● Machine mold and die components using CNC mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, and hand tools

● Perform precision fitting, polishing, spotting, and final assembly of mold and die components

● Inspect tooling for wear, damage, and performance issues

● Troubleshoot and resolve mold and die-related issues to support consistent, high-quality production

● Work closely with engineering and production teams to implement tooling improvements and engineering changes


Requirements:  



● 2-5+ years of experience in working in a mold shop

● 2-5+ years of experience in mold polishing

● Background in mold maintenance, repair, or building
