Journeyman - Commercial Roofer

Description

GBR Corporation is seeking a Commercial Roofer Journeyman with five or more years of experience to join our team. Under the direction of a foreman and superintendent, a Journeyman will bring expertise with installation, maintenance, and repairing low-slope commercial roofing systems. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expertly install and repair commercial roofs following company standards and manufacturer specifications. 
• Maintain working knowledge of job site safety and always adhere to all safety protocols.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Perform complex flashing around curbs, pipes and roof penetrations.
• Problem-solve and resolve issues that may arise during a project.
• Maintain professional interactions with everyone: peers, supervisors, office staff, vendors, etc.

Requirements

• Roofing Journeyman status require
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be physically fit enough to climb stairs/ladders
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
