We are an industrial healthcare laundry.

We provide bed linen, surgeon’s scrubs, towels, pillowcases, sheets, blankets and surgical linen to our hospital owners, medical clinics and nursing homes.

Required Knowledge:

  • Industrial Electricity
  • Industrial Electronics
  • PLC & Computer Interfacing and Operations
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Steam
  • Reading and understanding complicated machine and wiring drawings

Job Duties:

- Trouble-shoot and repair a wide variety of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components, including changing faulty switches, air solenoid valves, air lines, and major machine components.

- Visit assigned areas of responsibility, inspect equipment and assess maintenance required.

- Review assigned Preventive Maintenance work. Perform those activities, which are possible during production. Complete remaining during non-production hours.

- Respond to trouble calls on assigned equipment. Identify mechanical, electrical, or electronic malfunctions and communicate them to the Supervisor.

- May be responsible for plant start up or shut down.

- Instruct mechanics in lower classifications in appropriate repair techniques

- Other tasks as assigned

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent and two years formal training in a skilled trade. Experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
