We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:Â
- Provide care to a variety of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting requiring day treatment therapies.Â
- Administer infusions to pediatric patients for a wide variety of conditions including, cancer, hematologic conditions, Crohn’s disease, juvenile arthritis, genetic disorders, transplant and research.
- Provide post-anesthesia care including phase I and phase II recovery following radiologic interventions/treatments.Â
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including, proceduralists, specialty providers, APPs child life, scheduling, and radiologyÂ
- Set priorities adapting to changing patient and unit/clinic situations.
- Work in two of three care areas: day treatment therapies (e.g. infusions, transfusions), sedation for procedures as well as pre-post anesthesia care.
- Prefer minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- 6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience Required
- Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience Preferred
- Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including successful work or involvement in other hospital-wide project work Preferred
- Experience in an academic medical setting Preferred
- 1 year Specific to Diagnostic & Therapy Center – previous experience in chemo, sedation and/or anesthesia recovery Preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months Preferred
- Certification in area of specialty
- Chemotherapy certification Preferred
