Position SummaryÂ
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to drive the design process of high-quality, innovative projects. In this role, you will lead day-to-day design development from concept through completion, collaborating closely with project leadership and guiding team members to deliver thoughtful, innovative, and impactful designs.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and designers on overall design approach to meet project goals and client priorities.
- Champion creative vision with a high degree of ability and expertise, instilling thought leadership, inspiration, and excellence throughout all phases of the design process.
- Lead all phases of the design process including space planning, concept, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, and FF&E specification and installation.
- Develop and deliver client and team presentations, communicating design intent in a clear, engaging, and compelling way.
- Guide and mentor junior team members through clear direction, feedback, and support.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by prioritizing workload, delegating effectively, and maintaining predictable communication across teams.
- Stay current and relevant trends, materials, and technologies, and apply them thoughtfully to project work in alignment with firm standards.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with the team to drive project success.
QualificationsÂ
- Professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
- 11+ years of interior design experience
- NCIDQ certification preferred
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling/rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite, Teams, and MS Office.
- Demonstrated strength in creative design and execution of high-level design projects.
- Understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts.
- Strong graphic, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to present design ideas in a clear and compelling way.
- Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and sustainable design principles.
- Experience in material selection, procurement, and construction documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Active involvement in professional industry organizations.
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- LEED accreditation or familiarity with sustainable design standards.
- Experience in commercial, hospitality, or workplace design.
- Familiarity with coordinating MEP systems into project designs.
- Familiarity with material sourcing, bid processes, and furniture procurement.

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000. We will consider relevant experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors in determining compensation.
