For over 25 years, the Wisconsin Early Autism Project (WEAP) has provided evidence-based, contemporary ABA therapy to help children with autism find success. Our goal is to empower our clients to build the skills needed to live a happy and fulfilling life.

At our WEAP Integrated Madison Site, children, teens and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities have access to a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary model where Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Mental Health Clinicians, and Behavior Analysts all work under one roof. Families don’t have to juggle multiple providers—our team delivers collaborative, life-changing care together in one vibrant, spacious clinic.

What You Have

• Master’s in Occupational Therapy
• Three years of OT experience required, 2 years of experience working with children preferred
• NBCOT certification (pass a 1 time certification test); maintain license per NBCOT requirements
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills—you enjoy helping others grow!
• A self-starter who brings ideas, passion, and vision to the table
• Strong communication, adaptability, and a love of working as part of a team

Bonus if you have SIPT certification, First Aid/CPR training!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervise Licensed Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) through in-person session observations and regular supervision meetings, ensuring compliance with national board standards
• Provide training and ongoing support to Occupational Therapists and COTAs in conducting evaluations, developing client goals, documenting treatment notes and data, and completing required documentation within established timelines.
• Promote strong relationships between therapy staff, clients, and families by supporting parent education, home programs, and family communication.
• Carry a reduced caseload to maintain quality of care and best practice standards, and provide coverage for therapy sessions as needed.
• Deliver direct services in alignment with each child’s IEP and/or treatment plan, including treatment planning, progress reporting, and record keeping.
• Create supplementary materials and resources to support treatment goals and implementation.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent progress meetings, and interdisciplinary planning sessions.
• Administer evaluations and produce written reports.
• Represent the Occupational Therapy program in workshops, trainings, and collaborative team initiatives.
• Work with the scheduling team to manage caseloads effectively and communicate any concerns to the Center Director.
