About the RoleÂ
Â
At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.Â
Â
What You’ll DoÂ
- Sort, tag, and price merchandise Â
- Help track and report production numbers Â
- Move processed merchandise to sales floor Â
- Provide friendly, helpful service to donors Â
- Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departmentsÂ
- Maintain clean work and storage spacesÂ
- Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stockÂ

- Ability to process donated merchandiseÂ
- Reliable attendance and punctualityÂ
- Basic communication and teamwork skillsÂ
- Basic math and computer skillsÂ
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededÂ
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shiftÂ
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the dayÂ
- High school diploma or currently pursuing Â

- Previous retail or thrift store experienceÂ
