Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients recovering from illness or injury.
Serving a diverse patient population from pediatrics through geriatrics, you will partner with patients to restore essential functions and achieve their maximum level of independence in work, self-care, and leisure activities. This role utilizes customized education, therapeutic exercise, adaptive techniques, and specialized equipment to treat a wide variety of diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluations & Goal Setting: Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate functional limitations and establish collaborative patient-therapist treatment goals.

Therapeutic Interventions: Develop and implement evidence-based occupational therapy plans using specialized exercises, neuro-rehabilitation, and functional training.

Independence & Adaptation: Train patients in adaptive techniques, customized activities of daily living (ADLs), and the use of specialized equipment to maximize self-care and work independence.

Lifespan Care: Deliver age-appropriate, high-quality rehabilitative care across a broad clinical spectrum from pediatric to geriatric populations.

Documentation Excellence: Maintain precise, compliant, and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation detailing patient progress and care plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:

Required: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program from an accredited school with a degree in Occupational Therapy (DOT, MOT, or MSOT).

Experience: Previous clinical experience is preferred, but passionate New Graduates ready to launch their careers are highly encouraged to apply!
Licensure & Certifications:

Required: Must possess and maintain a current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Illinois.

Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
