Job Description:

 

The Core Administrative Services Manager is responsible for managing the Core function and delivery of administrative services to leaders, client services teams, and stakeholders at multiple locations. Works closely to manage administrative processes, optimize service delivery and administrative functions, collaborates with stakeholders, and provide guidance and subject matter expertise.

This role requires extensive experience in tax preparation and assembly, as well as knowledge of tax systems, to ensure accurate and efficient handling of tax-related tasks and compliance with relevant regulations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage delivery of administrative services to support leadership and client delivery functions and teams (25%)

  • Provide coaching, guidance, supervision, and subject matter expertise to team members (25%)

  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance and service delivery quality indicators and manage stakeholder relationships (20%)

  • Manage staffing, hiring, and onboarding needs (15%)

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and offer recommended solutions in collaboration with team members, peers, and stakeholders (15%)

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience, knowledge of tax preparation and assembly required

  • 2+ years management experience with proven ability to lead and mentor others

  • Experience working in high-stress situations and high-volume environments

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications

  • Experience delivering client and/or operations services in an administrative capacity

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, provide guidance, deliver, receive, and apply feedback, and communicate individual and team support needs

  • Experience measuring and interpreting key performance indicators and developing performance enhancement plans

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to consistently deliver services in a client-focused manner

  • Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner

  • Excellent ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, work autonomously, and effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders

  • Ability to travel, as needed
