Phlebotomist – Clinical Labs

Work Schedule: 
60% FTE, day shift. 24 hours per week, 4-5 days per week, 4:30AM – 9:00AM. Every 3rd weekend 4:30AM – 11:00AM. Rotating holidays and on-call shifts required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
 

Pay:

• This position may be eligible for a $1,500.00 sign-on bonus.
• Additional components of compensation may include: 
  • Evening and night shift differential
  • Weekend differential
  • On-call pay

Play an important role in delivering information to a patient’s provider about their health so that they can diagnose and treat them properly.

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to:

• Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. 
• Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling. 
• Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing. 
• Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
• Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent Preferred
