Job DetailsJob Location: Champagne Beverage Co - Madisonville, LA 70447 a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator Schedule: Hours are 4:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Job Summary: Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to transport pallets of product within a temperature‑controlled warehouse. This role supports inventory management, replenishment, production, and shipping activities while maintaining safety and accuracy standards. Essential Job Duties: Safely operate a forklift to transport pallets to, from, and within the warehouse Move pallets from the receiving dock or reserve storage locations to designated warehouse slots Put away, drop down, and rotate pallets of stock within inventory reserve racks Maintain accurate replenishment using a handheld device as pallets and inventory are placed on racks or production lines Stack cases and rotate merchandise as needed Pull product from inventory and deliver to production lines Move and slot finished product from production to designated storage areas Pull finished product from storage and load onto trailers Unload product from inbound trailers Utilize required technology and systems to select and track product movements Maintain a clean and safe work area, including: Sweeping floor slots Cleaning spills Reworking the damaged product   QualificationsQualifications & Forklift Certification Requirements Current forklift certification required (or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe) Must be able to safely operate a traditional forklift in accordance with company policies and OSHA safety standards Previous warehouse or forklift operating experience preferred Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a temperature‑controlled environment Ability to perform physical duties including lifting, stacking, loading, and unloading product Must be able to read, understand, and use handheld inventory devices
