Position Summary:
This individual is a key member of iKon Boat’s warehouse operation team that will be responsible for safeguarding, monitoring/tracking, and record-keeping/reconciliation of all physical inventory quantities maintained onsite. The Warehouse/Inventory Control Manager will execute and drive processes that ensure inventory accuracy.Â
Job Responsibilities:Â
- Responsible for all warehouse inventory quantities and operating supplies
- Perform and lead cycle counts and rack audit. Develop and follow a process that ensures appropriate count coverage in accordance with iKon objectives
- Input and manage inventory data within Epicor; evaluate transactions and related data to identify anomalies and resolve count discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory recordkeeping through reconciling physical counts against system data. Oversee product shipments to/from iKon warehouse
- Work closely with warehouse team and forklift operators to maintain orderly storage and warehouse location system
- Optimize and consolidate use of warehouse space while maintaining an accurate and consistent use of the item location system
- Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and reporting any replenishment needs to other members of management
- Identify and escalate issues regarding the handling and storage of product
- Execute defined work instructions and procedures, as well as company and safety policies
- Provide operational input to refine established procedures to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency, improve quality or reduce cost
- Issues all parts for pick and updates appropriately in Epicor
- Maintains accurate records of products out of warehouse, based on needs of the production floor
- Continually work with management on projects and opportunities for optimization
- Assists MP&L Manager with all annual audits and physical inventory counts
- Operates under 5S strategies at all times
- Gives and welcomes positive feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit.Â

Qualification Requirements:Â
- Highly focused with a keen ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in roles that demand a high level of attention to detail
- 3+ years related experience
- Possess knowledge of purchase orders regarding receipt by matching parts with POÂ
- Experience with creating and/or maintaing a filing systemÂ
- Experience operating forklift
- Work in a fast-paced environment with or without interruptions.Â
- Ability to consistently lift 35 lbs
- Ability to spend time on feet and at desk
