We are seeking an experienced Toddler Co-Teacher for our full-time closing shift. We are looking for a confident, professional educator who is passionate about helping young children thrive while providing leadership and support to fellow teachers.

This position is ideal for someone who is a strong classroom leader, excels at building relationships with families, and enjoys coaching and encouraging newer educators through positive example.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a toddler classroom while providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
  • Demonstrate exceptional classroom management and positive behavior guidance techniques.
  • Support, encourage, and mentor newer teachers by modeling best practices and professionalism.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with families through excellent communication and daily updates.
  • Ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards and all center policies.
  • Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to maintain a positive, team-oriented culture.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of classroom experience in a licensed childcare center (Toddler experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide other teachers.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills with families.
  • Professional, dependable, and positive attitude.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to support the success of the entire school.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification 
  • Knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards preferred.
