Shop Mechanic - Pasadena, TX

Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced Shop Mechanic to join our team in Pasadena, TX. The successful candidate will have experience working on small engine pieces of equipment such as golf carts and tractors. This position offers:

• 40 Hours+
• Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half

Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
• Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
• Complete shop paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus
• 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
• TWIC Card
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Per diem and relocation is not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.
