Parts Manager- Mahnomen
The Parts Manager attracts, retains, and effectively engages department personnel while leading parts sales operations to deliver the highest level of internal and external customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for maximizing return on investment through parts sales onsite and on farm, employee coaching and development, inventory management, expense control, and continuous process improvement.

What You’ll Do
- Lead daily sales operations through positive, professional relationships with team members, leadership, and support resources, fostering teamwork and exceptional customer serviceÂ
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop department employees through ongoing coaching and performance managementÂ
- Execute the Parts Department marketing plan with guidance from the Corporate Parts Manager, monitoring progress to ensure achievement of departmental goalsÂ
- Establish, communicate, and maintain effective department processes that drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, and part sales
- Partner with the Corporate Parts Manager to develop and manage an annual budget aligned with dealership financial and operational goalsÂ
- Promote and merchandise parts and accessories in collaboration with other store locationsÂ
- Maintain an accurate and effective inventory control system, including physical inventory processes and counter proceduresÂ
- Oversee timely submission of parts warranty and return claims to maximize creditsÂ
- Maximize use of order discount programs to achieve stock order and margin goalsÂ
- Ensure all department tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained and in good working conditionÂ
- Support customers and the team by assisting with counter sales and incoming phone calls as neededÂ
What We’re Looking For
- 2-4 years leadership experienceÂ
- Proven leadership ability with experience developing and motivating a teamÂ
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals and groupsÂ
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business systemsÂ
- Solid understanding of financial principles related to parts operationsÂ
- Ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and make informed decisionsÂ
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving abilityÂ
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends during peak seasonsÂ
- Business Degree or equivalent experience preferredÂ
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle recordÂ
Work Schedule
- Off-season: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- In-season: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM & Rotational Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM with other parts team members
- After-hours on call support during peak seasons
