Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid – Client-facing with travel across East Coast life sciences hubs, Multiple locations possible though based on client demand, including New York City, New Jersey, Boston, and Maryland

Overview: A global AI and analytics consulting organisation is looking to appoint a Client Success Principal to lead strategic client partnerships and enterprise AI transformation programmes within the Life Sciences sector.

The organisation is an AI-first company with more than two decades of experience applying advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to enterprise decision-making across global industries. It works with major Fortune 500 organisations and global pharmaceutical companies to deploy production-grade AI solutions at scale.

This role will sit at the centre of senior client relationships, owning large pharmaceutical accounts while delivering complex AI and analytics programmes across commercial, R&D, supply chain, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

The position is highly client-facing and requires regular onsite engagement with senior stakeholders across the U.S. East Coast life sciences corridor.

Compensation:

• Base salary: USD 200,000 – 280,000
• 25% performance-based variable bonus on top of base salary

Key Responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Strategic Account Ownership

• Own and grow major pharmaceutical client accounts within complex enterprise environments
• Serve as the primary senior client contact and trusted advisor to executive stakeholders
• Develop strategic account plans aligned with client transformation priorities
• Lead executive governance structures, including quarterly business reviews and programme steering committees

Revenue Growth & Commercial Expansion:

• Drive growth across large life sciences accounts, expanding multi-million-dollar consulting relationships
• Identify and convert new AI and analytics opportunities within existing client engagements
• Lead proposals, presentations, and commercial discussions for new programmes
• Align AI and analytics capabilities with measurable business outcomes for pharmaceutical clients

AI Transformation Programme Delivery:

• Lead enterprise AI and analytics transformation programmes across multiple workstreams
• Oversee initiatives such as
• Commercial analytics transformation
• Next-best-action and decision intelligence platforms
• Omnichannel analytics and customer engagement models
• Patient services and healthcare data platforms
• AI-enabled field force optimisation tools
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including data science, AI engineering, cloud engineering, and analytics delivery teams
• Ensure programme stability, delivery quality, and strong client satisfaction

Executive Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage senior client decision makers, including CIOs, SVPs, VPs, and enterprise leaders
• Navigate complex stakeholder environments across multiple business functions
• Lead strategic discussions around AI adoption, enterprise transformation, and analytics strategy

Practice & Team Leadership:

• Lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix delivery environment
• Provide coaching and direction to programme teams and delivery leadership
• Contribute to the growth and maturity of the healthcare and life sciences practice
• Support a culture of ownership, accountability, and high-performance consulting delivery

Candidate Profile:

• 15+ years of experience within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industry
• 10+ years of consulting experience in analytics, AI transformation, or strategy consulting
• 10+ years delivering AI, analytics, or enterprise data transformation programmes
• Strong track record managing strategic Fortune 500 life sciences accounts
• Proven experience driving large consulting engagements and revenue growth ($10M+ programmes)
• Experience engaging executive stakeholders, including CIO, SVP, and C-suite leaders
• Strong understanding of enterprise AI ecosystems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving enterprise consulting environments

Eligibility Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GenAI or advanced analytics solutions within pharmaceutical environments
• Background from leading consulting firms such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG or specialist analytics consultancies
• Experience managing globally distributed delivery teams
• Exposure to modern cloud data platforms and AI engineering ecosystems
