Facilities Manager

Join Lincoln Tech as a Facilities Manager where you'll oversee campus operations, safety, and security across our educational facility onsite. You'll lead maintenance operations, manage inventory , and implement security protocols that protect our students, faculty, and staff while maintaining an environment that supports learning and growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for oversight of equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and building systems operations
  • Manage campus inventory control systems and procurement processes
  • Implement security protocols and emergency evacuation procedures
  • Conduct quarterly safety inspections and ensure compliance with fire and building codes
  • Assist Campus President with budgetary planning and expense management
  • Oversee contractor work for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Monitor campus facilities to ensure optimal condition and functionality

What You Need:

  • 4+ years experience in facilities management and security, 
  • Knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes
  • Understanding of fire codes and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software
  • Military or law enforcement background helpful

Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance staff to:
    • repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
    • reassemble equipment
    • perform routine preventive maintenance
    • ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building(s) does not deteriorate
  • Detect criminal activity and reports appropriate matters to local law enforcement agencies for proper resolution
  • Develop and implement proper evacuation procedures, to ensure effective egress of students and staff in the event of an emergency
  • Ensure quarterly safety inspections are completed
  • See to the inspection of hallways, classrooms, and office areas, to ensure compliance with state and local fire and building codes
  • Assist the Campus President with budgetary matters, campus procurement, and expenses
  • Oversee any assembling, installing and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment, in reference to staff or licensed contractors to perform jobs requiring permits
  • Manage the maintenance staff or work performed by licensed contractors
  • Develop and implement proper evacuation procedures, to ensure effective egress of students and staff in the event of an emergency
  • Ensure quarterly safety inspections are completed
