Work Flexibility: Hybrid

As a Portfolio Associate supporting Stryker's Early Intervention/Primary Knee Portfolio within the Knee Business Unit, you will help drive the growth and success of products that advance patient care in knee arthroplasty. In this role, you will leverage business and market analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and generate insights that support portfolio decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to pre-commercialization plans, annual marketing plans, and product launch initiatives while supporting presentations to business leaders, sales teams, and customers. This position offers an opportunity to build marketing and portfolio management expertise while contributing to innovative solutions that help surgeons deliver better care for their patients.  

 

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and no experience.

This is a hybrid role located in Mahwah, NJ.

What you will do:
• Understand the market positioning and strengths of key competitors
• Describe the basic offerings of a product line and their primary features
• Gather and apply market research in decision making
• Research and collect product information, service information and marketing literature
• Assist with researching new markets, opportunities and segments to support new product development
• Understand key marketing philosophies around product branding
• Identify key elements within a new product's Value Proposition that requires evidence
• Understand the appropriate commercialization plans to put in place to earn new customers or expand in current categories
• Know the market positioning and strengths of key competitors
• Understand the differences between customers; non-users, exclusive users, competitive users and multi-brand user
• Understand the concepts and importance of sales forecasting
• Understands a product lifecycle management (PLCM) plan
• Research internal and external data sources for pricing
• Locate market data, planning tools, and expert resources when analyzing marketing strategies
• Understand measurements of business performance and how to identify trends

What you will need:

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 0+ years of work experience required

Preferred:
• MBA preferred
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as PowerBI and SQL

  

 

United States of America Pay Ranges:

  • USN: $59,900 - $83,300 USD Annual
  • US20: $71,900 - $100,000 USD Annual
